Fern River, Inc. is a woman-owned small business with a staff comprised of seasoned professionals who have experience building award-winning web sites.
The founder, Donna Peck, has over 17 years of management experience encompassing a wide variety of technical, analytical, and content support programs. Under her direction, contracts are completed on time and within budget with the advantage of extremely low staff turnover. In addition to management, her diverse work experience, training, and education enables her to participate in every phase of research, content, and data processing projects including statistical analysis, modeling, data base development, programming, and report writing.
Staff members of Fern River contribute a variety of important skills, above and beyond normal technical abilities. For example, our extensive knowledge of library science enables the team to efficiently assimilate disparate sources of information and content into coherent and cohesive information dissemination systems with a taxonomy that everyone can understand.
Although the main focus of Fern River activities center on creating and managing web content, the entire team is also very knowledgeable and experienced in many technical areas including training design and development. We pride ourselves in the ability to provide the whole array of services typically needed in the web site marketplace: needs analysis, design work with custom graphics, web content development, programming and database infrastructure, web statistics analysis, and marketing and outreach activities.
